Ward was the first child born to MonroeLouisianaon 15 April, 1976. Monroe Christian School is a Christian-only private school for children of all ages. As a student in secondary school, Ward first attended Ouachita High School, but then transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer immediately following her Junior year. She briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward dropped out at 13 and moved into New York so that she could begin modeling. She decided to try acting a few years later. Initially, in 1970s she acted as an uncredited character in All My Children. A year later she was a part of the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. Ward got her first lead role in the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera, where she played the romantically virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999 she started a film career and starred in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film in theaters was not a success, but it did have some success in both DVD and cable. Ward had a role as a backup on the show Shallow Hal the following year. Also, she has appeared in several other direct-to DVD films and made guest appearances in various TV shows including Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet, the mother to a little girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. For her personal life, she's married to David C. Robinson. Together they have Cameron.
